Open Consultations
The CRPO is currently consulting on several key projects. Please provide your feedback by clicking on the links for each consultation topic. Consultations will close on September 12, 2025.
Application Requirements
The College is considering adjusting when students can apply for registration (substantial completion requirement).
The College is considering changing the existing provision to require completion of all academic coursework prior to application. This provision would still allow students to apply prior to practicum or thesis completion, provided all coursework has been completed. A minimum number of DCC and clinical supervision hours is also being considered for initial registration in the RP (Qualifying) category. Click here to complete a brief survey.
Equity-Based Standards
The College is consulting on two proposed new Standards – Cultural Humility and Non-Discrimination; and Indigenous Cultural Humility and Non-Discrimination.
The Standards were developed in response to CRPO’s commitment to equity, a recommendation from CRPO’s Trauma Informed Review, and a commitment to reconciliation with Indigenous communities. The draft standards are available on our website.

Guideline on Disclosing Information to Prevent Harm
The College is seeking feedback on a draft revised guideline on when to disclose information to prevent harm, focusing on optional reporting decisions. The existing guideline has been significantly expanded to provide RPs with more considerations when making these decisions. The revised guideline is available to review on our website. Please review the document and click here respond to a brief survey.
