Background

Visit the professional practice information section where the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) offers a practice advisory service for Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) to discuss professional practice, ethics, and standards. As well CRPO offers “Practice Matters”, which is an occasional post addressing clinical topics of interest, generated by the Practice Advisory service to inform registrants about key trends. CRPO also provides guidelines for naming practices, ensuring compliance with CRPO standards and Ontario business laws for partnerships, professional corporations, or self-employed practitioners. Additionally, CRPO addresses cross-border psychotherapy, where therapists and clients are located in different provinces, territories, states, or countries.
