Logging into the Portal FAQ's

If this is your first time signing in you must use your email associated with your CRPO account for your username and click Forgot Password. This will generate a password reset link to be sent to your email, where you will be able to create a new password to login to your CRPO account.

Accounts are locked after 5 incorrect password attempts. Please contact info@crpo.ca if you have locked your account.

If you aren’t receiving the password reset emails, ensure info@crpo.ca and registration@crpo.ca are marked as safe sender. If the problem persists, you may need to contact your email provider.

You can request another password reset email at any time by going to this link and clicking Forgot Password: https://my.crpo.ca/en/myaccount

Application Issues FAQ's

At the top of the page in your user account, you should see a yellow button that says, “Determine Your CRPO Application Type”. Please click this button and complete the process to determine your application type. Once you do, the JRP enrollment option will become available.

If you go through this process and the ‘Enroll for JRP’ button is still inactive/greyed out, please send a screenshot or video of the page including the URL to info@crpo.ca.

Please email info@crpo.ca with a screenshot or video of the page including the URL. Please do not pay for the module again. Fees paid to CRPO are non-refundable.

Only when your education institution has sent CRPO your official transcript/credential assessment or letter of substantial completion and it has been manually uploaded to your account will you be able to proceed forward. Please note that this process has not changed from our old application system.

Please email info@crpo.ca in order to rectify this.

Please email info@crpo.ca in order to rectify this.

To return to the list of uploaded documents, please click on any education program entry, then click “Save & Add Documents” at the bottom of the page. You will see a list of uploaded documents.

While you can’t fully remove a document entry, you can replace it with a new document. It can be a blank file if you don’t need the entry at all. To replace the file, click “Edit” next to the document name, then click the red X button to delete the uploaded document. You can then upload a new document and change the course name/document type as needed.

Practice Information Issues FAQ's

At the Practice Information page of your CRPO account there is a button to add/edit practice information. Clicking that button brings you to a new page where you can add/edit practice sites and add direct client contact hours and clinical supervision hours for review. At that page, once you click the button to request a review of hours, this adds your request to the queue for processing and you cannot make further changes until staff have reviewed the pending request.

If you have previously requested a review of your hours, you will not be able to make any new entries or changes to your Practice Information tab.

In many cases, registrants have clicked the button in error. We are working with the database administrator to resolve the issue of registrants gaining back access to the add/edit button.

CRPO staff will not review the hours submitted by email nor are CRPO staff able to upload documents on behalf of registrants. This must be done within the Practice Information tab of your account.

Exam/Qualifying Inquiries

Confirmation of the exam sign up will not appear on your account.

Sign up for the April 2025 exam sitting was exclusively communicated through email. Please note sign-ups are closed.

If the information is blank in your account, please note that CRPO staff will update this at a later date.

Renewal Issues FAQ's

Please see the Renewal page of CRPO’s website where you can find information, a video walkthrough of the form, and FAQs.

Account & Registration Management

Updating Your Public Register Information

Registrants are required to report changes to information on their public register profile and personal contact information within 30 days.

Legal and Assumed Name

To update the name in your account, please email info@crpo.ca. Please note that government-issued ID (e.g., marriage certificate, driver’s license, etc.) will be required to process the request.

Other than in exceptional circumstances, previous names will appear on the public register. To request non-publication of previous names, please contact CRPO.

Commonly Used Name in Practice

A registrant can update their commonly used name in practice in the “Personal information” page of their CRPO account. The change will be reflected automatically on the public register.

Public Register Email

A registrant can choose to have an email published on the public register and can report this email in the “Personal information” page of their CRPO account. The change will be reflected automatically on the public register.

Business Address and Practice Sites

A registrant can update their practice sites or indicate they are not currently practising/employed in the “Practice information” page of their CRPO account. One current practice site must be designated by the registrant as their primary practice site, which will be indicated as their “Business Address” and a “Practice Site” on the public register.

All current practice sites are automatically published on the public register. Withholding practice site information from the public register must be approved by the Registrar. If, for safety reasons, you do not want a practice site or certain information about a practice site (e.g., address) published, please contact CRPO.

When creating the entries for your employment sites, you should not list your job title as the practice site name. Job titles, such as “clinical supervisor” or “group facilitator”, are not items published on the Public Register.

Languages of Care

A registrant can choose to have their languages of care published on the public register. A registrant’s language fluency in English and/or French will also be published if the registrant has indicated they would like their languages published. A registrant can update their selection in the “Language of care” page in their CRPO account. The change will be reflected automatically on the public register.

Registration Category

A registrant can request a category transfer, if eligible, in the “Category transfer request” page in their CRPO account.

Independent Practice Status

A registrant can update their direct client contact and clinical supervision hours for independent practice in the “Practice information” page of their CRPO account. See here for more information.

Registration with Other Statutory Regulatory Bodies

A registrant can report a change in their registration with other statutory regulatory bodies by contacting CRPO. If the change occurs during CRPO’s renewal period, a registrant can report the change in the “Renewal” page of their CRPO account.
