Peer Circles offer registrants the chance to connect with peers across Ontario; explore shared challenges and practice issues; sharpen knowledge of practice standards; and gain new resources and tools to apply in practice.
Peer circles are a supportive, group-based learning activity, led by trained facilitators. During a peer circle, participants are presented with a case for discussion. The cases offer Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) an opportunity to discuss ethical issues, share knowledge, and collaborate on how to apply practice standards in various situations.
Peer circles are an opportunity to reduce isolation, network with peers, and ask questions! Peer circles are a safe environment to explore challenging situations and how to apply an ethical decision-making framework in complex scenarios. Participation in Peer circles is voluntary and can be used towards CRPO’s professional development requirements. If you cannot attend the most recent sessions, more will be added to the calendar. Revisit this page for updates.
Future peer circle offerings will be advertised on CRPO’s website or by email. More information to come.
