CRPO has created a detailed written Guide about clinical supervision. It discusses relevant requirements, resources, and question-answers all in one place. It is for supervisors and supervisees, though it might also interest education programs, employers, and others who want to learn about clinical supervision.
CRPO used the Guide to develop a short, free online learning module on clinical supervision. Starting in April 2026, CRPO will require any clinical supervisor providing supervision for CRPO registration to complete the module (along with meeting other requirements to serve as a supervisor). This applies to clinical supervisors in Ontario who are RPs or belong to another psychotherapy-practising profession (e.g., psychologists, social workers) who supervise RPs or students applying to CRPO.
