What is the purpose of the town halls?
Town hall meetings are intended to allow organizations to share information and to hear from their system partners. The sessions won’t be ‘educational’ events, so much as they will be opportunities to hear about and to provide input on the work that the CRPO is doing.
When are the town halls scheduled?
Planned sessions for the rest of the year are tentatively scheduled as follows:
- Monday, November 18 @ 12:00-1:00 p.m.: Private Practice and Self-Regulation: Issues for RPs who are in (or thinking about going into) private practice.
Session dates and topics for 2025 will be confirmed in October 2024.
What topics will be covered?
Planned topics include:
- Conduct issues: information about what kinds of complaints the College is getting and how they are being addressed.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Efforts at the College: an update on the work CRPO is doing to ensure that the principles of DEI inform the work of public protection.
- Clinical Supervision: Issues related to providing and working under clinical supervision.
I’m not available to attend – will the town halls be recorded?
Yes. The town halls will be recorded and posted to the CRPO YouTube channel. Resources will be linked following each session.
