Committees help the College to carry out its core functions, as set out in legislation, by-laws, and in alignment with the CRPO’s strategic plan.

Examination Committee
One (1) professional member, one (1) public member position available.
- seeking individuals with expertise in working with people with disabilities, particularly related to academic accommodations, and who would have (or be prepared to develop) competencies that would contribute to decision-making in the public interest
Client Relations Committee
One (1) professional member, one (1) public member position available.
- seeking individuals with expertise in gender-based and intimate partner violence and sexual abuse, and who would have (or be prepared to develop) competencies that would contribute to decision-making in the public interest, to support the Committee in undertaking policy work related to approving requests for funding for clients who report sexual abuse by a registrant.
Inquiries, Complaints, and Reports Committee (ICRC)
Two (2) professional member positions available.
- seeking two (2) RPs who would contribute to the diversity of perspectives and lived experiences on the Committee and who would have (or be prepared to develop) competencies that would contribute to decision-making in the public interest, particularly in matters where discrimination was alleged.
Eligibility and Expectations
- Committee member eligibility is described in the CRPO by-laws, section 13.15 – Eligibility for Appointment.
- Committee members receive remuneration for Committee work in accordance with the Remuneration policy: 2025-Remuneration-of-Council-and-Committee-Members.pdf.
- Committee members are appointed for terms of approximately one year, with the possibility of reappointment in accordance with the Non-Council Member Appointments policy: Non-Council-Committee-Appointments-Policy-Jun1324-1.pdf.
- CRPO-appointed public members are individuals who are neither a professional (RP) member of a committee nor a government-appointed public member. CRPO is accepting applications from members of the public who are not RPs to fill additional positions on the Client Relations and Examination Committees.
